retail premises in Cheltenham and their e-commerce website.

Summer 2004 - Fern ICT Limited undertakes
THE Learning Combination on going computer and network support agreement.
Spring 2004 - Fern ICT develops and deploys robust WAN and LAN
infrastructure for THE Learning Combination. Linking offices
in Bristol, Corsham, Cardiff and Wrexham via a secure internet VPN
over ADSL enabled the training and consultancy organisation to
centralise their electronic business resources and course materials
on their headquarters based server.

February 2004 - Fern ICT has been awarded 'Adopter' status within the
Welsh Development Agency
managed Commitment to
Innovation programme.
Innovation (the profitable exploitation of new ideas) is widely recognised
as being one of the key success factors in gaining competitive advantage
in the global market place.
The CTI programme encourages and promotes innovative organisations in
Wales. Such organisations commit themselves to innovation in their corporate
strategies, adopt good innovation management principals and implement them
in their daily business practice.

January 2004 - Fern ICT Limited and the
University of Glamorgan
Commercial Services
undertake Product Assessment and Viability Evaluation (PAVE) for a
new development initiative. A critical element in the successful launch of a
new product is the thorough understanding of the potential marketplace. PAVE
provides market expertise from a wide variety of industry and academic
professionals and offers a flexible, individually tailored service.

December 2003 -
SMARTCymru Technical Feasibility Study funding award enables
Fern ICT Limited to undertake a period of research to ascertain the technical
and commercial viability of a new product idea. SMARTCymru has been developed
in consultation with industry, with the specific aim of encouraging and
supporting innovators to carry out research and development that has real
commercial potential.

May 2003 - Fern ICT Limited becomes a registered member of the United Kingdom
Web Designers Association. The
UKWDA is a not-for-profit organisation, established to encourage and promote
industry standards within the British web design sector.

December 2002 - Fern ICT Limited incorporated under the Companies Act 1985,
Company Number: 4620216, registered in England and Wales. Founding director
Adrian Fern is Fern ICT's Principal Consultant and
UNIX internals specialist. Since graduating in 1987, he has developed a valuable
mix of skills during an unbroken career in computing, science and technology innovation.
Fern ICT is based in Chalford, Stroud, Gloucestershire and has office facilities in
Cardiff thus extending local coverage to the Westcountry and South Wales.
